Heart Warming Soup

February 15, 2011

I love Covent Garden’s current Soup of the Month. Their ‘Warming Soup,’ in association with the British Heart Foundation, aswell as being chunky vegetable and lentil flavour, is also my current flavour of the month.

Why I like this soup in particular at the moment:
- It is on offer in Sainsbury’s stores for something random like £1.17. You can’t actually open our freezer drawers at the moment as I have purchased a few *coughs* for the remainder of the month
- The actual taste of the soup exudes ’healthiness,’ surely a good thing
- It is super super healthy and low in calories. Everyone in my office seems to be on a diet at the moment and this is the perfect choice for a healthy dinner. At 141 calories and 0.3g sat fat per half a carton this helps make up for my calorie deficit from the weekend  (add some of protein on the side however to ensure your stomach does not eat itself).
